DOs
Norwegians are very proud of their involvment in World War 2, so when conversation turns in that direction the right thing to DO is agree and sympathize.
The best recreation activity to DO in Norway is skiing. It's the norm for Norwegians to skii all year round since it's usually cold enough.
DO remember that everything that has to do with cars and transportation is expensive. WIth all the taxes on gas and travel many peope walk and ride bikes.
The thing to DO when in Norway is try to be honest all of the time. Since people trust each so much there it's not really a good thing to lie.
DO remember that trying to get a loan right away might not happen in Norway. They have their own system of credit-wrothiness.

DON'Ts
Since there is a service charge added to your bill when eating out at restaurants DON'T tip 20% or more. It will seem like you're showing off if you tip more than 15%.
In Norway DON'T try to haggle. Every item has a fixed price, so unless damaged, trying to bargine with the seller will be useless.
DON'T get to touchy feely with people from Norway. Unless you are a close friend or family, touching is kept to a minimal.
Because Norway is a more open-minded country DON'T make assumptions on marital status or peoples lifestyle.
Even though Norway shares a close proximity with neighboring countries, Norwegians tend to keep to themselves so DON'T openly treat them like the rest of Scandinavia.
